Pulsen AB, Sweden's oldest IT company, has now added a new record to its 46-year history. It has been a fantastic journey that several of our staff members have taken since the start in 1964.

Our 46th fiscal year, in the wake of the recession, has been characterised by less demand for hardware products and more demand for services and specialist knowledge. Our hardware company Pulsen Systems, has struggled for quite some time with reduced margins and as a result, has experienced losses during recent years despite halving the work force. To compensate for declining margins, volumes had to be continuously increased. We were unable to accomplish this with the current state of the market. We therefore made the decision to liquidate the company without it negatively affecting any external parties. Despite this, we have managed to increase sales by four percent to SEK 1.4 billion compared to last year's SEK 1.35 billion.

Our results for the fiscal year are not just a record; we have broken through the 100-million barrier for the first time ever. The financial results are dazzling, with SEK 106,8 million compared to last year's SEK 60,5 million. The year's outcome is a result of our strategy with different complementing divisions. Cost accounting for our investments in new system products in recent years has been via the profit and loss account. We gained a major boost in revenue in this fiscal year from our administration operations.

The unit has the largest personnel organisation in the group and has developed solutions and products that are well-adapted to the times.
